I finally watched doe boy. It came out in 2001. I know..why so long. Always on my list to watch, but never got around to it. I'm glad I finally watched it.

Its so good. And well, it leaves a lot to be interpreted at the end. Its got that native american richness to it. A story of a boy who shot the wrong the deer. He always thought his blood was bad because his father was white. As it is, he turns out to be the only Cherokee Indian in the state of Oklahoma whos a hemophiliac. And he realises, he hasn't quite lived life yet because of how overprotective his mother has been with his disease.

You might remember him as Frank the demonic rabbit in Donnie Darko. Probably one of our most under-rated actors around.

True, he has a special earthy Americana about him. And he is of multi-mix right up there with Keenu Reeves. Yet, he has this "every man" taste about him.

If you ever get a chance watch him in Nowhere that was made in 1997. Its definitely right up there with Donnie Darko. He's the main character. Its a teen movie with scads of faces you'll know. No holds barred when it comes to the sexy and yet violent and brutal Hollywood/California scene.

His character is probably far more screwed up than anyone you'd want to meet, and yet he's likable and just might have figured everything out, yet he has nowhere to go.
