Happy 4th! For those in the states! Have a safe one.

Naturally, Josh has been so Josh, lately. Almost needy at times. I have no idea what he might do, sometimes. If he hangs with friends I have to be there every step of the way. And really, I don't always like his pals. They are ok, but give them a holiday and they get drunk and act tough and its really crazy. Well, not too crazy, but crazy enough.

He's got it in his head that I should move in with him. But I kind of doubt that anytime soon. Maybe when I get out high school. We'll see if he still means it by then. I'm not sure how crazy his Mom would be about that. What he really wants is us to get an apartment together. But that is so higly unlikely at the moment.

Clive is in jail. He got caught with some 15 year old. Yeah, its crazy. Its sad. Looks like he might be in because he's older and all. I don't know really what happened, but it looks like he got a judge who wants him to stay in jail. She'd said she was a lot older and...I don't know, how I feel about it. Really. I want to stay indifferent. Anyway, maybe he'll be good after this. Doubtful.

Other than that I have another job besides the sandwich shop one. I'm shelving at the library. Hopefully, sometime this month I'll get my driver's license. I hope.

Also we've had some big power outages. Another reason why I haven't been on.

We had a wind storm that was just as powerful as a tornado. Only straight winds. 90 mph per hour. It only lasted 15 minutes, but the power outages have been bad for the rest of the week. And that happened last Friday. So yeah, its been a tough week.

We're having a cookout. Then fireworks. We went to a party and a fireworks show last night. It was a nice night for it.

Naturally, Josh is asleep at the moment. He got home late, had to work this morning. So now he's asleep.

I went off with Jonah's Mom yesterday. She's got the quilting craze now so we looked at fabrics. Then I went to her friends house with her who also quilts and her middle schooler had to put on a concert for me. That was fun. He's really good on the guitar. His voice, well, more practice. He's gotten so thin though. I was certain it was girl over to see him. I felt like an idiot when I almost said something like, "is that your son's girlfriend?" Thankfully, I held my tongue.

Well, we made limecello for our festives. Josh tried some yesterday and said it'll knock your socks off.
