It started out great. A bunch of us going to try out this new place. Josh got the whiskey steak which he loved. And it wasn't at an unreal price. They have great bruschetta there too. Of course, everyone was worried about the fresh chopped tomatoes on it with the salomila scare going around. It was so good. I got chicken with pasta. It was really cheesey. Well, they turned it to the news there. And from what we could tell we were pretty much in the clear even if tornadoes had been spotted north of us and east of us. The sad thing is in Iowa that a twister his a boy scout camp near Sioux City. Injured 40 and 4 boys died. It was just awful. But we didn't know that then. It happened around 6:30, I think. Anyway, we went on to the theater. Got seated. The movie started at 7:15. About 20 minutes into the movie we get this voice through the theater that we should stay in the auditorium. He comes back to say, "Stay where you are watching the movie." The place has like 17 theaters. I think. We couldn't even go to the bathroom. Somehow, that just made me want to go more. So lots of interruptions through the movie. It was good though. Lots of fun. The girls and their clothes. It was a rather long movie, however. Of course, I was beginning to think we might be there until 2 in the morning. After while, we got a message saying a tornado was spotted at the nearby military base. The rain and hail came. Lots of wind too. I kept imagining the roof coming off the theater. Finally, it was all clear. Luckily, we got over the bridge before it closed. A little after we got home we found out they closed it because water was rising. It was quite a night for excitement. We may have to watch the movie again. Although, I don't think I could get Josh to sit through the movie, again. The movie has lots of laughs and fashions. Although, I'm not nearly that fashion conscious as some. I know people love Samantha, but I just find her pretty selfish. Charlotte's story was the best.  alex.evans
