My weekend has been a lot of odds and ends. Its helped to have beautiful weather. Although, I might have ruined it seeing The Ruins. It was definitely well cast. The scenery showed the vastness of nature, but then once you got to thinking about the whole premise. Who in their right mind would go there?

It has lots of suspense. Jonathan Tucker definitely deliveres as the more level headed one who keeps giving this false hope. But come on...lines like "We're Americans, somebody will come for us?" Huh....

Thankfully, it wasn't any longer than it had to be. Once you get to the bloody scene of bestly described as Next Top Model in a ghastly blood bath, you are so wanting this movie to be over.

Last night, at least I balanced it out with Eagle meets Shark. Excellent. I love the quirky soundtrack to this movie. Its not to be compared to that movie that starts with an N that everyone knows line too. This is the story of an introvert who falls for a strange fellow by the name of Jared who is not only just a wee bit off as a slacker clerk in a New Zealand town, but quite a liar as well with the most obsurd mission yet. Its funny, but it gets to you too as well. How as human beings we are treated by either peers or at work or even in love. You don't want to miss this one.

Other than that....

1. Out with Josh, listening to All Smiles and Band of Horses. Even did the unthinkable. The two step. He doesn't want his friends to know. While on one had we detest lot of Carrie Underwood and twangy songs..yet put on the Jayhawks or one of these bands I mentioned and he's ready to show his stuff. Its fun. But I don't think I'd want to go to a dance and let anyone see us.

2. I worked on the throw. I went through a huge batch of yarn now I'm on another. I think it'll take forever. Its a huge throw. I didn't know it would be that big. Of course, I feel the same way about a wash cloth I'm crocheting too.
