rainy day blues

Its been raining all day. I'm so sleepy. Its been one of those days where you have this very slow headache. You know its there and it just makes you heavy with sleep.

Josh is being stubborn. See we weren't going to go to Prom because he wanted to go to this concert. Now he wants to go. I'm kind of upset with him because he was making a big deal about how we don't need to spend money on such things..and now I see he wants to go.

One more thing to stress me out. I had decided not to think about it. Now I have to. I really want to be mad at him, but I can't.

Now the rain. And its cold. Some prom this is going to be.

Its just so hard to enjoy things, sometimes. And I know I should enjoy more things in life. I shoulldn't have to have a barrel of money to enjoy it, either. But a little does help.

I just wish I'd known. You know, so I wouldn't be a basket case at the moment over a dress and stuff. Since I'd told all my friends at lunch I wasn't going.

And I've been pretty content lately not doing anything. I mean, when I hear about these people who have to have a swimming pool and theater room in their house..well, that disgusts me. I just don't know how they do it. They have this whole other standard that I wouldn't even know where to begin to obtain something like that.

But then again, I'm not sweeping out my hut, either. I'm sure if I had my own hut it would be a messy one. I'm must a messy person.

Sorry to whine so much. And I'll get through this thing with Josh. Just a little test. He's not wearing a tux. Hopefully, its not a black track suit. Could be. Anything is possible with Josh.
